Most valuable lesson learnt in literature.

The most valuable lesson I learnt in literature is that English is not only about a language, it is about art and appreciation of a language. Literature has thought me must about appreciating art and the part I think is most valuable is the meaning of literature. Although poems and other things in literature is important, I think that what the teacher is going through and all the lessons that he thought was all about appreciating poems, songs and understanding the meaning of the songs or poems and why the poet wrote it that way.
