2P4 In-Class Online Lessons: Term 1 Lesson 2

*Re-read Ray Bradbury's story "All Summer in a Day." In your blog, identify who should be held responsible for Margot's treatment, and why.
The children in Venus should be held responsible for Margot's treatment. The Venus children had prejudice against Margot, who just came from Earth to Venus and thought that she did not belong together with them. But it was partially Margot's problem for wanting to tell them and compare with them her life in Earth and how the Sun looked like when she know that the children in Venus did not have a chance to see the Sun, only once in seven years.
Then (in the same entry) imagine yourself as one of the schoolchildren; what might you have chosen to do which would have led to a positive outcome? (#LA-ACE)
I would want to be around with Margot and try to mend her ways of being arrogant and teach her something about Venus, their likes or dislikes, or what they might really one. I would also try to protect her from being bullied, so in the end, she could see the Sun, that would only come out in seven years.
