The old lady
There was an old lady,
Who was really silly.
She went to buy cake,
Which she forgot to take,
And she went home to eat chilli.
Two boys fighting
There were two boys fighting,
While they were eating.
One threw his bread,
The other saw red.
And they were inprison for littering.

This is quite a nice and humorous poem. However, I think that there is a slight grammatical mistake. Shouldn't it be "And they were IMPRISONED for littering"?
ReplyDeleteThese 2 fun poems that talks about a lady who forgets to bring her cake home and two boys who were fighting and got imprisoned in the end for littering. Quite enjoyable!!!
This is poem is quite short and thus may people would feel like reading these poems. Especially so because the title is limerick and limericks are funny. I find that your poems are quite nice and humorous.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Keith that there is a typo error. However, that aside, your limerick is humorous, and since it is not a long one, many would not mind to stop to have a read. It sounds quite nice too.
ReplyDeleteBoth poems are short and simple, which makes it easy for people to read, interpret and appreciate. Adequate dose of humor was mixed into the poems, thus creating a light and soothing mood.
