Life is like a blast of fire,
with energy and heat will you begin.
With might and power, will you strike.
With opportunities like no other, would you fight.
But flames will always die,
With energy that would dry,
Cherish life now or you'll be sorry,
Because flames and you have the same stories.
The poem is written to describe that life is like fire... because in the second sentence, it meant that after you are born and was sent to school, you would begin your life in the society. In the third sentence, it meant that you have the support of friends and parents and other people around you and you have what it takes too strike and win. In the fourth sentence, you are now in adult stage and had to work to earn money. So looking for a job would meant money if you were given the opportunity to have a great job. In the fifth sentence, it meant that you are getting older and that after whatever the flame is feeding on would always be used up. In the sixth sentence it meant that the energy is gone and that in the seventh sentence, life would end. So in the last sentence it meant that the life of yours is like the life of flames and that you must cherish life and live yours to the end!

That was a very intresting poem, dictating life. I think that you can also add some wind in the poem. You can say that when there are strong wind, the fire will not be out, as to show that when we are alive, we will face many problems, but what really brings us down is the shortness of our lives. You can say that the shortness of our lives will cause us to lose the time to gain more knowledge. I do not insist you to change, but that is how I feel. I like the first three lines the most, as it gives a roaring start to the readers who read your poem. I believe many will also like the first three lines of your poem as it makes the reader want to continue reading the poem and find out what the poem wants to tell its readers. I will heed your advice to cherish my life and will promise to live mine to the end, so do not worry. :P
