Did it not cover any information you'd hoped it would? If the story is available online, please provide a link. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-12892171

Reflection on Japanese earthquake&tsunami
Singaporeans can learn from this recent Japanese earthquake and tsunami disaster to always be prepared for a crisis, be it economically, or civilly. Because Singapore is rather safe, from earthquakes and tsunamis since it is near the equator, but that does not mean that we can let our guard down and not be prepared for after quakes and huge tidal waves, terrorism might also happen, so no natural disasters will not mean no artificial "disasters". Singaporeans can also learn to be more volunteering and help out people in need by using money or using force, which mean going to Japan to try to give a helping hand. We as a nation will not have what it takes to handle a similar crisis, because we have never experience a similar crisis, nor have we have a little bit of experience. Our land is also too small, so we do not have other states to help out in the crisis and our neighbouring countries might also be reluctant to help, in terms of manpower. But we might be prepared for terrorist because we have encountered terrorism before and know what to do when we encounter events like this, we have patrol guards around and the expert in bomb defussal squad, which will be able to keep us safe, from a terrorist attack found earlier than when the terrorist strikes.

Literature
Literature is the art of language, put into many forms to display literature, forms like poems, short stories, novels. All of which is for either leisure, or education. Literature might also be related to history, or art. For leisure, one can enjoy stories, novels or films, with usage of strong English, and that is part of literature. For education, one can read non-fiction history books regarding about famous or important people. Literature's significance in life is that it involves thinking, and it is related to language. So Literature might be as important as the language you are taking. Literature also involves imagination, so with imagination comes inventions or getting more information from understanding literature deeper by reading more, or by finding meaningful stuff to do regarding Literature like watching a Literature films and so on.

Racism in Singapore
In my opinion, I think that there is not enough things done to combat racism. I think that laws should be implemented on people that committed crimes related with racism, like offending people of different race or showed racism through the media or actions, violence. This way, people would think twice before acting to be racism. Also, because insufficient is done to combat racism, racism still exist even now, and people will find other means to cause racist actions or racist comments, through the Internet or racism jokes. Now, people might still treat people differently depending on their skin colour, or their parents might also want their child to be successful or not. Because in some cases, I've seen white kids, being forced to study and get good grade for studies while black kids might not be forced as much as white kids, and are free to choose their future. White kids would also have more freedom than black kids, when they're a teenager or a kid.
I think that racism can be dealt with in Singapore by using laws, such as fines or maybe a letter of apology. And maybe mist exchange programs are organised by schools. As racism normally start when a kid start primary school, being in a totally Chinese school would cause the child to have lack of contact with people from other race and learn lesser things about their culture, their ways of handling things and what might be sensitive to them.

CIP experience
I had CIP during term 1 in Secondary 2 when I visited MacPherson kindergarten. I had to teach K2 students with a partner, Chee Yuan and we had great fun. We taught them had to draw using shapes and draw using creativity. What I learnt was that kids are full of ideas, they are creative and wants to learn, wants to explore and are always enthusiastic in thinking or creating art pieces and are always full of energy, wanting to dance and play. I learnt that life as a kid when I was young, was as peaceful, as lively as them. I rarely had trouble coordinating them because they were attentive and willing to learn stuffs. They might be young, immature and stubborn at times, but patience will be the ultimate key to success in calming a child or to make the child listen to you, alternative new ways, mostly creative, colourful or interesting will make communication between both of you simpler.
